Twelve years, mostly in the darkroom
2014
First camera, borrowed. First darkroom, a bathroom with the window taped over.
First paid commission. Twelve portraits for a florist who paid partly in peonies.
2016
2018
First solo show, in a coffee shop. Sold four prints, two of them to my mother.
2020
The commissions stopped. I started printing in platinum instead, which was either brave or stubborn.
A real studio, with a real darkroom and a door that locks.
2023
2026
Booking commissions for spring. Still have the borrowed camera. Have not returned it.
